australian botanicals

The botanical series is very close to Julie’s heart and she loves the Australian trees, pods, and seeds just as much as the flowers, leaves and buds.

The diversity and beauty is a constant source of inspiration, the unique forms being a vital part of our relationship with this land.

pod & pod by Julie Hickson art work is made in a limited series. The large pieces are out of 25 and the smaller botanicals out of 30.

The works below are available on commission with a 4-6 week lead time.

Sometimes the next work in the series will be ready - in which case they are marked ‘available now’

(Edition numbers and availability listed are subject to change).

Make an appointment to visit and view or come to an open studio.

Julie is always working on new botanical designs - and happy to discuss a commission to paint your favourite Australian plant.
